|
I am thrilled so far of the
great response we are getting, to ensure that Sacramento stays involved with Lazy Bear.
Camping at the Out Back, in
Guerneville has been verified. The rate
will be $30 a person. Every morning will
include a continental breakfast. For
those who are staying Sunday and Monday, a full breakfast will be
served. Mike and Tracy, the owners of
the Out Back, out do themselves. Your
stay will be a memorable one. A
simple reservation at 1-707-869-3102 or 1-707-206-1076 is all that is needed. Mention if your charity has not set up something direct with Mike or Tracy, “Friends of Sacramento”. Also if your charity wants
to be in a group campsite, please mention this also. There is
limited electrical for those needing CPAP in a specific area.
I appreciate that so called
seasoned Lazy Bear volunteers, that have stepped up and are taking the helm in
being captains of events.
As of Thursday the 22nd

dates for regular attending meetings of charity resources to promote Lazy Bear and
also obtain volunteers. If new resources
would like to schedule a time for me to be at one
of your meetings, please contact me at 717-9801.
We have almost completed a meal deal. The cost will be announced to you very shortly via email. I want to thank C. Arnett, from Santa
Cruz for his donation of the propane powered chaffing dishes and
telecommunications for Lazy Bear.
We are so lucky that 100% Beef , wants to do a piece of Sac
Woof Society. This
translates into a great article for the friends of Sacramento, the charities that are supporting the new changes in
Lazy Bear. Also this gives us a great
resource to promote the bear friendly bar (The Bolt) on our April 7, involvement of the 1 year anniversary since Kenny took ownership of the
bar.
Shortly you will receive an email on what openings are
needed, if you have not already contacted me. The
next meeting will be before mid April. Date will be announced when via email

About the Sacramento WOOF! Society *UPDATED*
|
|
It would appear the our "bear"ly new club has already raised some questions and eyebrows...
We decided to "update" our clubs intentions and "explain" our motto... The text in bold are the updates and/or explanations. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
Here it goes...
The SWS (Sacramento WOOF! Society) is a group of guys that seeks to offer an alternative outlet for bears, cubs etc from the bar scene in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. A social group, if you will. This club's focus is about having a great time while serving the Gay community.
“Hot SAFE furry fun for the not so average bear” is the clubs motto.
And the best part? No membership fee!
How is it free?
Simple. Through the donations and resources of the founders and patrons in Sacramento.
“What kind of club is this?"
It's a gay male social club where bears, cubs, etc; can get together for drinks, coffee, activities, parties, etc.
"What exactly does "Hot safe furry fun mean?"
Men of the furry persuasion, getting together for some pretty outlandish and risque' events. Hot. Safe. Furry and fun.
If it's free... then why join? Simple. When you join the SWS, you'll get...
* Discounted admission to ALL SWS sponsored events!
* You'll be able to view the SWS calendar of events!
* You'll receive our monthly newsletter via email!
* You'll be eligible to submit your SWS profile for our "SWS profile of the Week"!
AND!
* You'll be eligible for "members only" raffles and drawings!
So what are you waiting for?
Join the Sacramento WOOF! Society today!
